If you can no longer keep your pet, Loving Grace Rescue can assist you with the placement of your pet.

PLEASE NOTE, HOWEVER, THAT WE ARE NOT A PUBLIC SHELTER; WE CANNOT ACCEPT OWNER RELINQUISHMENTS.
Please complete a separate Post for Adoption Request for each animal you want to place. We will not put your pet(s) until we have received your $25.00
donation. You can use the link below to send the donation via PayPal.

Please note that completion of this request does not guarantee that Loving Grace Rescue will be able to help you place your pet.

LOVING GRACE RESCUE IS NOT A SHELTER. YOU MUST BE WILLING TO KEEP YOUR PET(S) WHILE WE LOOK FOR A HOME. LOVING GRACE
RESCUE ACCEPTS NO FINANCIAL OR PHYSICAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR PET(S).

Before you fill out our Post for Adoption Request, please check out Wonder Puppy's amazing site dedicated to helping owners keep their pets.

Thank you!

  • Complete one "Post for Adoption Request" (below) for each animal you are trying to place.

  • Immediately send as many GOOD pictures as you can of your pet(s) to an e-mail addressed to
    lovinggracerescue@gmail.com.

  • Use one of the Paypal links on this site to make a $25.00 or more donation per animal you are requesting help with
to Loving Grace Rescue. This donation will help us continue to rescue, shelter, and provide medical care for our
    rescues.

  • Once the above steps are complete, Loving Grace Rescue will send you a fax number so you can verify your pet's
    pertinent health records.

  • If you are in Orange County, a Loving Grace Rescue representative will contact you to set up a time / place to meet
the animal(s) and take photographs and videos, if possible. Sorry, this is not possible if you are outside Orange
    County.

We will then post your pet to Petfinder, AdoptaPet, and Pets911, among other pet adoption sites. When a prospective
adopter sees your pet, they will complete our online Adoption Application which we will then screen to determine if the
home will be suitable. If you are just looking for anyone to take your pet, please look elsewhere. We will not place a pet into
a home that we would not place one of our own rescues into. We want to do everything in our power to ensure that the
home your pet is placed into will be its forever home. Once an application has been approved, we will schedule a time to
introduce the prospective adopter(s) to the pet, and, if all goes well and we are able, we will conduct a home check and
have the adopters complete an Adoption Agreement. We can provide you with an adoption agreement to have the adopter
sign stating, among other things, that if for any reason, at any time in the future, the adopters decide they can no longer
care for the pet, he or she will come back to you rather than be placed with another party or shelter. We highly recommend
you use this agreement to prevent your pet from winding up on death row sometime in the future. At the time of adoption,
we will also collect an adoption donation from the adopter of $175.00 - $400.00 for each dog and $75.00 - $175.00 for
each cat placed. Again, these donations will help us provide care for the animals in our rescue.

Please keep in mind that unless you have a highly-desirable breed or breed mix, it may not be possible to
place your pet if you have a very strict timeframe for which to find the animal a new home. It is not uncommon
for it to take 3 - 6 months or more to find a new home for an animal in our rescue.
